SYNOPSIS:
Marae is a horror film set in the world of surfing, taking place under the Polynesian sun.
Sarah invites three professional female surfer friends to accompany her to a mysterious island to surf an undiscovered, unspoiled virgin wave she has found out about. But the island is home to a strange, monstrous, murderous tribe. An incredible opportunity for the four friends to fulfil a dream turns into a hellish nightmare.
In the middle of this paradise-like Polynesian landscape of turquoise seas and dense virgin forest, violence can surge up at the four surfer girls from anywhere and at any moment.
This paradise-like island turns into a Hell on Earth, that leaves the young women with little chance of survival.
